About the museum
The house was built in 1896 by Walter Boldizsár and his first wife, Angeli Mária. Its eighty-centimetre-thick walls are of rammed earth, the material of which came from the high bank behind the plot. In keeping with the customs of the time, it consists of a kitchen, living room, parlour, pantry and an open gallery. It has a gabled, tiled roof, and its firewall facing the street is serrated. The house's exhibitions present local history, including the history of the settlement in 1944–1945.
