About the museum
The Sellye exhibition site presents the former way of life of the people who lived along the Dráva. Its material includes textiles, folk furniture and ceramics of the Ormánság.
The talpasház (sill-beam house) from Csányoszló in the courtyard preserves one of the oldest forms of Ormánság folk architecture. The exhibitions present Ormánság folk art and costume, industrial history, and the tools and craft of rope-making; in the open-air section there are a carved bell frame, a folk tavern, a house interior and a barn with a hayloft (góré).
