About the museum
The civic cultural centre of Moimacco is named after the painter Guido Tavagnacco (Moimacco 1920 – Udine 1990), who donated and bequeathed many of his works to it. The centre houses a permanent gallery of around forty paintings that trace the different phases of his output.
The works include portraits, still lifes, drawings, caricatures and landscapes, from the Neorealist period to the late 1980s. Other works by him can be seen in the town hall and in the parish church of Moimacco, where his Via Crucis (Stations of the Cross) is located.
