About the museum
The museum holds about 780 objects devoted to the traditional crafts and farming life of Latronico. The carpenter's workshop section displays chisels, files, planes, rasps and hammers; the blacksmith's section has locks, nails, an anvil and the workbench with its complete equipment. Tools of farriers and shoemakers are also present.
Other materials document the stages of grape and grain cultivation and the processing of bread and wine, while an evocative reconstruction of a farmhouse, with bedroom, kitchen and rooms for farm work, conveys the daily life of times past.
