Museo Marino Marini

Opening hoursAdmission €10

About the museum

The museum holds 183 works by Marino Marini (1901–1980), including sculptures, paintings, drawings and prints dating from 1916 to 1977. The collection comes from donations by the artist and his wife Marina, begun in 1980, and is housed in Florence in Piazza San Pancrazio, in the former church of San Pancrazio.

The works are arranged thematically across four levels around the Gruppo equestre dell'Aja (1957–58), placed under the natural light of a large window.

The spaces also include the Cappella Rucellai, the Sacello del Santo Sepolcro and the medieval crypt, which are used for events and hire; the museum also offers family workshops and school programmes.
