About the museum
The museum was established in 2001 by the Municipality of Mombercelli, in the Asti area, with the aim of preserving the traditions and objects of rural life linked to the vine and wine, and of strengthening the sense of identity of the local community.
Through tools, implements and testimonies, the collection documents the work in the vineyard and in the cellar that for generations shaped the economy of the village and the surrounding hills.
