About the museum
The collection is housed in the premises of the car repair workshop “Anru motors” at Garozas iela 15a. It features more than 30 restored cars, as well as objects reminiscent of Soviet childhood – toys, school supplies and tourist equipment. The exhibition also tells the story of the achievements of companies such as RAF, VEF, “Straume”, “Radiotehnika” and “Sarkanā zvaigzne”.
The collection can also be viewed outside visiting hours through a glazed display window from the side of the Rota cultural centre; for a closer look and a guided tour, the visit must be arranged in advance.
