About the museum
The Herregården in Larvik, also called Den Grevelige Residens (the Count's Residence), was built in 1674–1677 by stadtholder and count Ulrik Frederik Gyldenløve. The building was the residence of the Count of Larvik and today serves as the main site of Larvik museum.
