About the museum
Kolejkowo Wrocław is an exhibition of models in the Sky Tower, the tallest building in Wrocław (212 m), on the first floor at ul. Powstańców Śląskich 95. It shows a miniature world at a scale of 1:25, in which trains, trams and cars run, and the model includes reproductions of Wrocław landmarks, including the Town Hall (Ratusz).
The model has a day-and-night effect, in which street lamps and lights in the windows come on, and a storm with real raindrops and lightning. Miniature cars move in accordance with the traffic rules, and the model has more than 5000 hand-painted figurines.
Recently the following have been added, among others: the Renoma department store (Wielki Dom Handlowy Renoma), the building of the Wrocław Puppet Theatre (Wrocławski Teatr Lalek), a monument to Bolesław the Brave (Bolesław Chrobry), a miniature of the Cafe Borówka on the roof, the Podwale department store (Dom Handlowy Podwale), and an interactive firefighting action prepared in cooperation with Wrocław firefighters from the City Command of the State Fire Service (Komenda Miejska PSP).
