About the museum
The Museum of Polish Motoring of the 20th Century “Polska na Kołach” (Poland on Wheels) was established in 2013 under an agreement with the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and is still being organised. Its foundation is a family collection of Polish motoring, gathered since the late 1990s. The museum is run by Arkadiusz and Wojciech Łukasik.
The collection includes more than one hundred mostly rebuilt, working vehicles, among them buses and lorries with an unladen weight above 3.5 tonnes. On display are, among others, the SHL and Junak motorcycles, San and Autosan buses, FSO Warszawa, Syrena and Polski Fiat 125p cars, Jelcz and Star lorries and an Ursus tractor.
The museum is located in Podgaje near Busko-Zdrój, in the heart of the Szaniec Landscape Park and a Natura 2000 area. It operates seasonally: the 2026 season ended on 27 September, and the new season is planned to start from the May holiday weekend of 2027.
