About the museum
The Military Technology Museum in Zabrze was established in November 2011 by transforming the association “Mała Armia – Grupa Śląsk” (Small Army – Silesia Group), which had operated since 1995. The institution bears the name of Jerzy Tadeusz Widuchowski and is run by the Widuchowski family and volunteers.
The exhibition is located in the Military Technology Park at ul. Mochnackiego 12. Visitors see military vehicles, machines and other objects of military technology there, and during events there are also demonstrations and military picnics. The collection includes, among other things, an AN-2 aircraft, a helicopter and tanks, and new exhibits, for example the Gama Goat vehicle, are constantly being added.
The museum organises educational classes for schools and organised groups, meetings of military enthusiasts and trips to rallies. The museum's postal address differs from the address of the exhibition.
