About the museum
Mobility City occupies the Pabellón Puente in Zaragoza, the covered footbridge that Zaha Hadid designed over the Ebro for the 2008 International Exhibition, where the exhibition “Agua, recurso único” (Water, a Unique Resource) was presented. After the Expo the building was converted into an exhibition space, and in February 2023 it was inaugurated by King Felipe VI with its new use as a technological mobility museum.
The centre, which presents itself as the first technological mobility museum of the 21st century, has about 6,500 m² of covered space and is organized into four areas: a temporary exhibition hall of more than 1,000 m², a free-access innovation zone in the central corridor of the bridge, an experience space and a multipurpose space for presentations, workshops and cultural activities.
The experience space offers interactive routes on the mobility of the future, with virtual reality, driving simulators, projections, touch applications on urban planning and augmented reality zones. The museum is part of the offer of the Fundación Ibercaja and is located on the Expo site, next to the Palacio de Congresos (Congress Centre).
