About the museum
The Museo de Antigüedades La Gamella is a private collection in Navaleno, in the Soria comarca of the Pinares. Its creator, the collector Pedro Delgado, has spent some forty years gathering objects, some donated by private individuals and others bought at markets.
The display, installed for almost two decades in premises owned by Delgado himself, shows nearly 700 pieces, although the total collection is larger. They are tools, farm implements, utensils and objects related to rural work, trades and local commerce; most come from the Pinares of Soria and Burgos, and there are also pieces from neighbouring regions, such as a pharmacy from La Rioja.
The owner personally accompanies visitors on the tour.
