About the museum
The museum brings together the work of the artist Javier Gómez, who has spent more than thirty years researching flat glass and creating sculptures by stacking and gluing sheets. Over his career he has taken part in some two hundred exhibitions and has more than seven hundred works to his name.
The collection traces his development, from the first pieces, built from geometric and sequential planes, to his most recent works, which are more compact and organic and feature colour.
