About the museum
The Robot Museum opened in 2013 and belongs to Juguetrónica. For years it was in Madrid, on Calle Alberto Aguilera, and on 17 April 2025 it moved to The Dreamland Proÿect, in Alcorcón, where it occupies around 1,200 m² with a space-themed route.
The museum offers a journey through the past, present and future of robotics. The collection is organised into four areas: retro and toy robots, film robots with replicas and pieces from the movies, interactive humanoids that talk and dance with visitors, and a collection of Sony’s Aibo robot dogs, from the ERS-110 model of 1999 onwards.
The pieces include a life-size replica of C-3PO, an R2-D2 used by Kenny Baker, Robby the Robot and components of the T-800, as well as the humanoids NAO, Pepper and Alpha 1. The visit is led by a guide specialised in robotics, and the collection grows every year.
