About the museum
Flottarkojan in Marma lies by the Dalälven river and houses an exhibition on log driving on the river's lower course. Log driving was for a long time an important part of working life in the Dalälven valley, and timber was floated down the Dalälven towards the coast.
The hut is owned and run by Föreningen Marmabygden (Marmabygden Association), which keeps the exhibition open on certain days in summer and also rents out the premises. Next to it is a large jetty with a view over the water.
