About the museum
The museum has its origins in Ingemar Ahlqvist’s car collection, which was moved to the museum building in Rydaholm in 1983. As well as cars there are mopeds, bicycles, radios, toys and musical instruments.
The museum also contains an old general store (lanthandel), a radio shop, a bicycle and moped shop, a tractor collection, a shoemaker’s workshop and an antiques shop. The museum’s Londongatan (London Street) and the expanded tractor collection are highlighted as special sights. Next to the museum there is a bathing place and a small chapel.
