About the museum
The farming museum at Övralid is run by Västra Ny hembygdsförening (Västra Ny Local Heritage Society). It lies next to Verner von Heidenstam's former home on a rise overlooking Lake Vättern. The local heritage society documents the district and also looks after the Nubbekullen local heritage homestead.
The museum can be combined with a visit to Övralid and a fika (coffee break) at Farfarstugan (the grandfather's cottage).
