Over het museum
LUCA – Luxembourg Center for Architecture is a private non-profit foundation, founded in 1992 under the name “Fondation de l’Architecture et de l’Ingénierie” (FAIL). It aims to convey architectural quality as a cultural subject and addresses professionals as well as interested members of the public.
The programme includes themed exhibitions, lectures, workshops, guided tours, excursions, walks and construction-site visits, as well as offers for schools and the general public. The centre also organises the Luxembourg Architecture Award and Luxembourg’s contribution to the Venice Architecture Biennale.
The building in Luxembourg-Clausen houses a resource centre with an archive and an architecture library of around 8,000 books.
