About the museum

The KTM Motohall opened in May 2019 in Mattighofen at the headquarters of the motorcycle manufacturer KTM. The building was designed by the architects Hubfour; the Province of Upper Austria supported the project with cultural funding. In 2022 the venue received the Austrian Museum Seal of Quality. The Motohall is operated by KTM Motohall GmbH.

On three levels, the exhibition takes visitors through the history of the brand, past, current and future models, and motorsport. A Hall of Fame honours successful factory riders with their machines. A Living Workshop offers insights into craftsmanship and technology, and in the Innovation Lab visitors discover how ideas become products, using a laser cutter, 3D printer and soldering technology.

In addition to the tour, there are guided tours, factory tours, workshops, programmes for schools and a shop of around 300 square metres.
