About the museum
The Türi Muuseum opened on 2 July 1995. In fact the museum is older, as local schoolmasters had been collecting for years. At first rooms were found in the old workers’ house of the so-called factory village. When the newly renovated former workers’ dormitory was completed in 2000, the Türi Muuseum moved under one roof with the Eesti Ringhäälingumuuseum (Estonian Broadcasting Museum), and since then it has been located in the attic of this bright green building.
