About the museum
The museum is located in the Harju learning centre, an environment of architectural-historical and landscape significance. Its purpose is to preserve old horse-drawn vehicles used in everyday life, to pass on knowledge of traditional horse-handling skills, and to tell the story of a time when daily work was done with horsepower. On display are vehicles on wheels or runners: ploughs and other implements, as well as finer pleasure sleighs and kiesi carriages.
