About the museum
The Nastola local heritage museum was founded by Nastola-Seura in 1958. The museum operates in a former grain storehouse built in 1845 near Nastola church. The exhibitions display objects related to hunting, fishing and farming.
The residential building Kopoo, moved from Ruuhijärvi, tells of everyday life in the 19th century, including cooking and sahti brewing (sahdin valmistus). The museum belongs to the Lahti museums and is being developed into a village house (kylätalo) that cherishes the traditions and history of Nastola.
