About the museum
The local history museum of the market town of Glonn is located on the second floor of the former monastery school on Klosterweg, opposite today's primary school. It is run by the town's cultural association.
On display are pictures, artworks and everyday objects from times past. Historical workshops, such as those of a shoemaker, a rope maker and a tanner, illustrate traditional crafts.
Two rooms are dedicated to well-known figures from the town: the writer Lena Christ and the surgeon Professor Max Lebsche.
