About the museum
The Heimatverein Neckarelz-Diedesheim (local heritage association) set up the Heimatmuseum Neckarelz in a half-timbered house from 1796 on Rathausgasse. Across two floors, it presents evidence of the town's history.
The focus is the transformation that industrialization brought to Neckarelz. The association runs the house on a volunteer basis; in addition to the regular opening days, events such as a storytelling café are occasionally held there.
