About the museum
The Heimatstube Ferdinandshof is in the attic of the Brandstall, the municipality's cultural and event center. Since 2006 the local heritage association has been preparing changing themed exhibitions there.
They tell the more than 300-year history of Ferdinandshof, from its founding to the present, with objects, photos, newspaper reports and other finds. The permanent displays include a large timeline and historic one-of-a-kind pieces. Also shown are documents from more recent history, furniture, household items and old farm tools that local farmers once used.
