About the museum
The Heimatverein Köthensdorf, founded in 1995, set up a Heimatstube in 1996 in a former service room of the school dining hall. The painting and decorating work at the time was donated by a local painting firm.
In 2015 the Heimatstube was comprehensively renovated and redesigned; antique furniture gave it a new setting. The association continually adds historic pictures, documents and objects to the exhibition.
