About the museum
The village museum in Waldbrunn-Mülben was established on the former three-sided farmstead of the Haas family and is run by Thomas Haas. Over the years he has gathered agricultural implements, tools and machines of past times, and shows how arduous the work of rural people used to be – from home slaughtering through beekeeping and forestry work to sowing and threshing.
The collection is housed in the old cowshed and in a newly added horse-powered threshing hall (Göpelhalle). In 2021 the museum received funding from the federal emergency aid program for local history and agricultural museums, intended for a refresh and the expansion of the exhibition space. Besides agricultural technology, the museum also imparts knowledge of the village and municipal history of Waldbrunn.
