About the museum
The Fampeio Mouseio was founded in 2005 in honour of the painter and sculptor Thanasis Fampas (1922–2011) and is housed in the former primary school of Lafkos. The artist, a pupil of Konstantinos Parthenis, was a native of Lafkos and donated the works on display himself.
The museum’s rooms present paintings, dominated by the female figure, and sculptures in white marble from Pelion.
