About the museum
The Laografiko Mouseio Lefkon is the first folklore museum to operate on Paros. It is run by the association “Yria” and houses objects donated by residents, so as to preserve the cultural character and history of Lefkes, the island’s first capital.
Objects of everyday use, vessels, embroideries, textiles and tools are on display, showing the traditional life of the Parians in the past.
