About the museum
The Egervár Nádasdy–Széchenyi Castle is an experience-tourism, theatre and cultural visitor centre, which also operates as the Renaissance Visitor Centre. The building welcomes guests with one of its first smartphone-based visitor guide systems: the text of the device, which can be requested at the ticket office, presents the life of former Renaissance castles. Touchscreen terminals at the exhibitions offer further material. In summer, the open-air theatre performances of the Egervári Esték (Egervár Evenings) are held in the castle courtyard.
