About the museum
The exhibition was created by the Gyulai Hentesek Hagyományőrző Egyesülete (Gyula Butchers’ Heritage Association). It presents the history of Gyula sausage and the meat industry with old objects, photographs and period film footage. The exhibition material has grown since it opened. Admission includes a guided tour, a picture postcard as a gift and a tasting of traditional Gyula sausage made by the association.
