The museum stands in the centre of Ivánc, and its building follows the layout of old village houses: it consists of a vestibule (előszoba), a kitchen, a pantry and a room. The aim of the collection is to gather and worthily present objects and memories with a local connection, together with the tools and everyday implements of peasant life.
