About the museum
According to the greeting of the Magyarországi Tájházak Szövetsége (Association of Hungarian Heritage Houses), the Penc museum celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2022. The exhibition venue preserves the history of Penc, the notable natives of the village, and the memory of the heroes and victims of Penc in the 1848–49 War of Independence and the two World Wars. The museum's upkeep is also supported by the Penci Falumúzeumért Egyesület (Penc Village Museum Association).
Once a month, one object from the collection is presented separately, for example a traditional earthenware pot (cseréplábas). Renovation of the museum began in 2020.
