About the museum
The memorial house is the birthplace of Korányi Frigyes in Nagykálló. This great figure of Hungarian medical history spent a total of 37 years here, in his childhood and during the years of exile.
The permanent exhibition consists of three parts: on the life and work of Korányi Frigyes, on the furnishings and equipment of the Angyal Pharmacy in Pest, and on the history of schools from 1670 to 1960.
The memorial house can be visited by prior telephone booking.
