The Nógrádmarcali Tájház opened in 2025 and presents Palóc folk values, the heritage of Nógrádmarcal and the memory of the village’s landlords.

About the museum
The heritage house was inaugurated in 2025, after long collecting work and renovation from its own resources. Retired volunteers gathered objects from the village’s families; the maintaining body is the local municipality. The plot of more than 3,000 square metres is also a venue for community events.
