About the museum
The Pannónia Motorkerékpár Múzeum presents the private collection of mechanical engineer Ifj. Szakács László in the Nyírjes district of Balassagyarmat. The permanent exhibition shows unrestored, original-condition Pannónia motorcycles, the brochures and operating manuals for the brand, and accessories from everyday motorcycle life of the period.
The collection aims to let visitors recall their own motorcycling experiences and get to know the Hungarian Pannónia motorcycles. The museum’s motto is: “My grandfather also got around on a Pannónia.”
