About the museum
The stone-walled house of a well-to-do farming family was built in 1889 for the two households of two brothers, which is why two stoves stand under the open chimney hood of the kitchen. The Heves Megyei Múzeumi Szervezet (Heves County Museum Organisation) set it up as a heritage house in 1976 and opened it to visitors.
