About the museum
The Paks Nuclear Power Plant Information and Visitor Centre opened its doors in 1995. Located at the entrance of the nuclear power plant, its interactive, people- and nature-centred exhibition brings nuclear energy into the world of everyday life, using easy-to-understand, playful panels, diagrams and models.
Individual visitors can visit the visitor centre without prior registration. In that case there are no guided tours, and the operational area cannot be visited. For interested persons who have reached the age of 14, the nuclear power plant also organises group plant tours, with prior registration.
