Chiara Camoni, curated by Ilaria Bonacossa, transforms Pietro Porcinai's historic greenhouse into a landscape to walk through, made of sculptures, textiles and ceramics with earth, ash and minerals from the Oasi Zegna.
About the museum
Casa Zegna is the cultural headquarters of the Fondazione Zegna in Trivero, in the Biella area, housed in a 1930s villa that was once the home of the Zegna family. The building holds the group’s historical archive, which documents more than a century of textile activity through sample books, documents, photographs and films, including fabric samples from the 19th century.
The permanent exhibition “From Sheep to Shop” tells the story of the company from its origins to today, following the path from wool to finished product. Each year the house also presents a temporary exhibition that links the archive with the territory of the Oasi Zegna.
The project also includes an outdoor contemporary art trail, with permanent and site-specific works by artists such as Daniel Buren, Alberto Garutti, Roman Signer, Dan Graham and Liliana Moro, placed in the surroundings of Trivero.
