About the museum
The Cenacolo di Fuligno was the refectory of the Franciscan convent linked to the Blessed Angelina da Foligno, in Via Faenza in Florence. The room was arranged around 1430 and still keeps its original function as the dining hall of the community, decorated with a cycle of frescoes.
The back wall holds a large Last Supper, datable to the end of the 15th century and attributed to Pietro Perugino, with the Agony in the Garden in the background. The hall also contains frescoes by Bicci di Lorenzo, a wooden crucifix by Benedetto da Maiano and the Assumption of the Virgin by Valerio Marucelli.
The Cenacolo is now a state cultural site, managed by the Direzione regionale Musei nazionali della Toscana, and the visit takes place in a single room.
