Centro di Interpretazione del Paesaggio del Po

Have only individual sections read aloud
About the museum
The centre is housed in the historic Palazzo Mossi in Frassineto Po and is the visitor centre of the Ente di gestione delle Aree protette del Po piemontese. It is run by the Ente in collaboration with the Comune di Frassineto Po and the Accademia di cultura Bernardino Cervis.
The route tells the story of the transformation of the Po Valley landscape, from the Tertiary era, when the plain was covered by the sea, to the present day. The area it covers runs from Crescentino to the Lomellina and is characterised by water habitats; the displays cover landscape, historical, natural, agricultural and geological aspects.
The displays use stage sets, videos, dioramas, environmental reconstructions and descriptive panels on two levels of reading, one for adults and one for children, the latter guided by the mascot Bodinco.
