About the museum
The Cinè Museum is the first cinema museum in South Tyrol and is located in the southern industrial area of Bolzano, in the Oltrisarco-Aslago district. The collection was assembled by Natalino Bernato, a cinema enthusiast and expert on the history of entertainment and of South Tyrolean cinemas.
The route presents objects from the beginnings of cinema in the 1920s up to the present, largely with a regional connection: projectors, cine cameras, editing tables (moviole) and machines for editing and joining film, some of which still work. The collection is completed by historical documents, posters and documentaries.
The museum also hosts film series, lectures, educational activities and casting sessions.
