About the museum
The Museo civico archeologico di Santadi collects the finds made in the municipal territory and in the Basso Sulcis area, thanks to surface surveys and systematic excavations in the archaeological areas of the district. The display follows a chronological order and tells the story of the monuments and cultures that succeeded one another in this fertile territory, from the Gulf of Palmas to the hills of Is Figueras.
The museum is linked to other cultural sites in the town: the ticket office also sells admission to the ethnographic museum of Santadi (Casa museo Sa Domu Antiga) and organises the guided visit to the Phoenician-Punic settlement of Pani Loriga, for which a combined ticket is available.
The museum is located on Via Umberto I, in the centre of Santadi.
