About the museum
The exhibition is set up in Castignano, in via Scaramucci, in the premises of a former silkworm rearing house. The rooms recreate the rural setting of the 19th and early 20th centuries and display tools and implements of farm and craft work donated by local families.
The exhibition is one of the stops on guided tours of the historic centre, combined with the Polo museale di arte sacra e delle icone in Palazzo De Sgrilli, and is also part of events such as the Templaria Festival and initiatives promoted by the Sistema museale piceno.
