About the museum
The Museo del Flipper is a project of the non-profit cultural association TILT!, founded in 1994. The collection grew out of the personal collection of the founder Federico Croci, enriched by loans and donations from collectors and enthusiasts.
The museum is designed as an interactive, multimedia space dedicated to pinball machines and coin-operated automatic games, with particular attention to Italian and especially Bolognese production, linked to brands such as Zaccaria and RMG. In addition to the machines, which visitors can try out, the project includes books, photographs and videos.
In 2018 the museum had to leave its previous premises. Today part of the collection is on display in the Spazio Tilt! in Via Vittoria, next to the MAST, on a side street off Via Battindarno. The exhibition space is limited, and opening days and times must be requested from the association.
