About the museum
The museum in Livraga, named after Mazzocchi and Bertolotti, opened to the public in 1999 and is run by a volunteer association. The collection brings together objects, tools and instruments linked to the trades and activities of rural life in the past, arranged by category: agriculture, dairy processing and the many trades carried out on the farmsteads (cascine).
There are reconstructions of rooms of a farmhouse (casa colonica) and of workshops showing vanished trades, as well as a section devoted to the toys of the past.
