About the museum
The museum is housed in Palazzo Bugliari (also known as the Palazzo dei Bugliari di sotto), a building whose form was completed in the 19th century and later restored, which today also serves as the town hall of Santa Sofia d'Epiro.
The route is dedicated to the Italo-Albanian community and presents, in four rooms, the traditional dress of Arbëreshë women: everyday, festive, semi-festive, bridal and mourning clothing. The display follows the stages of women's lives (bride, mother, mistress of the household, widow) and also documents the history of the area.
