About the museum
The Museo della Città (City Museum) of Chiari opened on 15 February 2011, on the feast of the patron saints, on the ground floor of the former town hall on Piazza Zanardelli. It displays archaeological finds from the medieval period, including Lombard materials from the Chiari area, and holds the town’s historical sources; the upper floors are planned as the seat of the historical archive.
