About the museum
The museum is housed in the nineteenth-century Palazzo Pingitore, one of the oldest palaces in Serrastretta. The Pro Loco enhanced the building by making it the centrepiece of the event “Serrastretta nel Tempo” and paved the way for its restoration, which was later carried out by the municipal administration.
Today the palace houses the Museum of rural and craft life and the headquarters of the Pro Loco, which runs the museum.
